About Well After 50

Tom Green, author of Well After 50

Hi, I’m Thomas Green. I previously published as Tom Green, and both names refer to me. I’m the writer behind Well After 50, a practical resource for people 50+ who want to feel better, stay active, and take better care of themselves as they get older.

I write about skincare, fitness, nutrition, energy, wellness, and healthy aging, with an emphasis on useful information people can actually put into everyday life. My approach combines research, careful evaluation of products and ideas, and real-world experience.

I don’t believe in quick fixes or miracle solutions. Getting older is about finding realistic ways to keep moving forward — taking care of your health, your appearance, your energy, and your quality of life without giving up the things that make life enjoyable.

I’m also the author of A Practical Guide to Getting Older Without Giving Up on Yourself, part of the Well After 50 series.

Well After 50 is built around one simple idea: life doesn’t stop at 50. In many ways, it can get better.

Real Life. Real Aging. Still Becoming More.

Welcome to Well After 50—a place for people 50+ who still want to feel good, look their best, stay strong, and enjoy the life they’re living.

Getting older changes things. Some changes are great. Others can be frustrating. But getting older doesn’t mean we stop growing, learning, taking care of ourselves, or trying something new.

That’s what Well After 50 is about: practical ideas, honest experiences, useful information, and a little common sense for this stage of life.

What You’ll Find Here

Skincare & Looking Your Best
Aging skin changes, and so should our approach to skincare. I look at ingredients, routines, products, and beauty ideas that make sense for mature skin—without pretending there’s one magic answer.

Fitness & Building Muscle
Strength matters at every age. You’ll find realistic ideas about resistance training, building muscle, staying active, and making fitness fit into everyday life.

Wellness & Healthy Aging
From everyday habits and nutrition to energy, confidence, and the questions that come with getting older, the goal is simple: useful information you can actually do something with.

No Perfect-Aging Nonsense

I’m not here to tell you that one cream will erase 20 years or that one workout will completely transform your body overnight.

Aging is real. So are the changes that come with it.

But there’s also a lot we can do.

We can get stronger. We can take better care of our skin. We can improve our habits. We can learn something new. And we can stop worrying so much about what we’re supposedly supposed to look or act like at a certain age.

Why I Started Well After 50

I started Well After 50 because I wanted a place to talk about the things that actually matter as we get older—strength, appearance, wellness, confidence, and figuring out what works without wasting money or chasing every new trend.

I’m learning along the way too.

Some things work. Some don’t. Some products are worth the hype, and some aren’t. I’ll share what I discover, what catches my attention, and the practical lessons that come with getting older.

Because being 50+ isn’t the end of anything.

In a lot of ways, it’s when you finally start figuring out what matters.

A Place for People 50+

Whether you’re in your 50s, 60s, 70s, or beyond, you’re welcome here.

You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to look 30. And you don’t have to stop changing just because you’ve reached a certain age.

You’re still here. There’s still plenty of life ahead.

That’s the idea behind Well After 50.
